Video Composing Contest - Aspiration to Success

The video competition "Aspiration to Success" is a series of events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The contest aims to review the process of formation and development of TDTU over the past 25 years as well as evoke pride, memories and good impressions of TDTU through the lens of art.

1. Participants
- Students, alumni, trainees, lecturers and officials of TDTU.
- The author can be an individual or a group (no more than 3 members/group).
- Members of the Jury did not attend.

2. How to join
2.1. Exam profile:
- Application form for the exam (hard copy)
- Entries: Full HD 1080p video file or higher, MP4 format, maximum duration 15 minutes, maximum capacity 2GB

2.2. How to apply:
- Option 1: Send your application directly to:

All entries are placed in an A4-sized file bag, and the outside is clearly marked "Video of competition: Aspiration to success".
Address to receive entries: Office of Communications & Public Relations Department: Ground floor of stands B3 - B4, Stadium - Ton Duc Thang University, 19 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, City. HCM.

Contest title and email set according to the syntax: Cuocthisangtac_Full name (individual/team leader)_Faculty/Donvicongtac (individual/team leader).
The content of the email includes: Contestant information: Full name, Administration class, Course, Major, MSSV, contact phone number (for learners); Full name, current working unit, contact phone number (for alumni, lecturers, officials). Exam profile.

3. Expected timelines
- Online registration time: From June 21, 2022 to June 30, 2022.
- Opening ceremony: July 2, 2022.
- The series of skills workshops and the time to register for the direct exam at the event: July 8 and 22, 2022.
- Time to receive entries: From July 2, 2022 to July 30, 2022.
- Time for communication and voting: From August 1, 2022 to  August 31, 2022.
- Film premiere and awards ceremony: September 3, 2022.

4. Evaluation method
- The jury will independently score points based on factors such as content, creativity, trendiness, visual message transmission, and integrity in expression to select 3 winners. Rank first, second, and third in order of points from highest to lowest.
- The organizers will post the contest entries and candidates' messages on the Youtube channel "Ton Duc Thang University" for voting, with the converted points: 1 view = 1 point, 1 like = 3 points and select the "Prize" favorite audience” for the product with the highest total score.
