International Business Forum on Investment, Trade and Tourism 2022
On the morning of September 22, 2022, the International Business Forum on Investment, Trade and Tourism 2022 (IBF 2022) was officially inaugurated at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). This is an event in the series of activities of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the University (September 24, 1997 - September 24, 2022).
Attending the opening ceremony were Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, and Heads of some Departments of TDTU.
There was also the participation of Mr. Truong Manh Son - Former Vietnamese Ambassador in the Czech Republic, Provincial leaders and representatives of departments and units of the localities of Quang Ngai, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Bac Kan.
On the side of diplomatic departments and foreign organizations, there were Mr. Hynek Kmonicek - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Vietnam, Prof. Vaclav Snasel – President of Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Sedlarik - President of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Prof. Libor Capek - President of the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic), Prof. Han Jang Hoon - Director of the Korean Cultural Property Appraisal Committee, and Mr. Shon In Sun - President of the Korean Association in Ho Chi Minh City.
IBF 2022 attracts the participation of more than 50 international enterprises and universities from the Czech Republic, Korea, Slovakia, Poland, Taiwan and more than 100 Vietnamese enterprises in various fields such as mechanical industry, automobile industry, plastic industry, pharmaceutical industry, commerce, tourism, transportation, etc.
In the opening remarks, Dr. Tran Trong Dao commented “IBF 2022 is a place to exchange experiences, provide support and create connections among organizations around the world with the aim of promoting potential cooperation opportunities. This is also one of the strategic activities of the University, which orients sustainable development to become an elite research university in the world, and pursues the goal of training students to possess comprehensive skills, and become global citizens in an international working environment”.
Also in the IBF 2022, an MOU signing ceremony between TDTU, the provinces and enterprises and universities of the Czech Republic was also carried out. The agreements are related to human resource training, scientific research cooperation, technology transfer in the fields of mechanics, automation, biomedical, administration, information technology, mining, eco-tourism, energy, renewable energy, architecture and urban planning, industrial zones, eco-tourism areas, etc.
IBF 2022 takes place in 3 days from September 22 to September 24, 2022.
